Some positive news.
The EGX-400/600 was the basis of this machine, so as the EGX-400/600 was just discontinued production this year, then there should be those common parts available, within reason, till about 2023. That said, I do not know of any of our AC axis motors failing. :)

Yes www.vectric.com are fully compatible with Roland machines, plus they import - DWG, DXF, EPS, AI, PDF, SVG Image File Imports include - BMP, JPG, TIF, GIF with nice vectorising to create vectors for machining. Thanks for the update, I had not seen that before, hence it is not a Roland product, but a Techsoft one.
Techsoft would be best to contact for one of those.

Make sure you install the correct Roland drivers for your PC http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/download.html , then choose cutting and your CAMM-1. Then you can check in "Printers & Devices" control panel.

For all users, you can launch SRP Player and look at the listed materials.
They show the federates, spindle speeds, depth of cut etc for the material and the selected cutter.
These are what work in SRP Player, so should be a good guide to start with.
