Re: Newbie here with contour cut issues

Hi Parnison, did you get this sorted? The easiest way to create a cut line in Coreldraw is to select the 'Object' you need cut-lining, and then click on 'Arrange' > 'Shaping' > 'Boundary'. The resulting boundary line will then become your cut-line when you change its 'Properties' to 'Hairline' and i...

Re: BN-20 Driver issue on windows 8

Hi Steve, Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am using USB 2.0 and the win 10 labtop is also using usb 2.0 - what do you think should be my next step? I'm still using Windows 7, Edward, and the original Versaworks (not Dual), and everything's fine with my BN20 ~ except the banding I get with m...

Re: BN-20 Driver issue on windows 8

Hi Edward I'm far from qualified to help you really, but until someone 'in the know' responds, I will just say that my own BN20 wouldn't work at all when I tried to use it via a USB3 port. I plugged it into a USB2 port, and had no problems with it thereafter! Are your ports USB3? Maybe you have the ...

Re: Spot color to rgb?

The best thing to do in this situation is to load the (colour-faulty) jpg into PhotoPaint or something similar, then click on 'adjust' in the menu bar (top of screen). On the drop down menu that appears, select: 'hue/saturation/lightness'. The slider controlling 'hue' can then be moved to the left o...

Re: BN20 metallic ink..

OK Martin, thanks for the reassurance. I'll leave it as you say and keep my fingers crossed. (..I think I've a touch of OCD when it comes to shaking ink cartridges!)

BN20 metallic ink..

Hi chaps I'm off to the Classic TT in a month or so, and my BN20 will be left unattended for maybe 10 days. I'm concerned the metallic ink will cause me problems if the cartridge is not shaken regularly (..and it won't be!) What's the best procedure in these circumstances? Can it be left for that lo...

Re: Eco Sol Maxx Ink Safety Question

Hi Craig. I've been running my solvent-ink BN20 in a bedroom for over two years with no problems at all. No mess, no smell & no adverse health effects; but for the noise it makes during self-cleaning I'd hardly know it was there.

Re: Metamark MD3 Gloss white

Hi chaps

Did anyone find an alternative to the Metamark 500mm vinyl? I've been using this too, and since Xpres no longer stock it I can't find a supplier. The 500mm Poli-Tape they now supply is less adhesive/less conformable and unsuitable for my needs.

Re: Versaworks Dual..

Hi Kai, thanks for the reply and sorry to be slow in answering. I gave up on Versaworks Dual (version 1.6.8) since nothing I did seemed to help matters. I've since reverted back to using the original Versaworks (..it's version 5.2.0). My BN20 is just set up in a bedroom at home, and - so far as I ca...
