Re: LEF 300 or Versa UV S series

I must admit, I am quite surprised the Versa S doesn't come in a 4 head config like the 300, and no primer option.

Re: LEF 300 or Versa UV S series

Out of curiosity, why the roland over mimaki? I know a few people with mimaki UJF's that swear they are far better and rolands are crap (I know this not to be the case). Its difficult to get a side by side comparison as people generally don't own both.

Well, if you plan on printing things on it, you are in the correct forum. As it is, the music forum is no longer. This is for Roland DG.

Re: UV primer for glass

To be honest, you will struggle. I have used Rolands glass primer which works ok. Not great, but better than bare inks. I have just changed my LEF-20 over to primer instead of gloss, and the bond on that is very good. Not sure it would withstand a harsh environment (pub glass washer) though.

Re: Label printing with LEF-20

Now I can see how it is put together, its just fans and a rechargeable battery pack . . . . I know theres a little bit more to the engineering than that, but no reason why you couldn't make your own adhoc solution. (Its easier for me as I have laser cutters :D )

Re: Label printing with LEF-20

Thank you for your enquiry via our website.
The price for the Digivac for the Roland LEF200 (works for the LEF20 as well) is £1595+VAT with delivery of £19.95+VAT.
The vacuum sits on top of the bed and limits the available printable product height to 38mm (from the 100mm).

You have spoke to them, or you have had an engineer out?

Re: Roland BN20 Temperature Error

Me LEF-20 has been stuck in the temperature alarm before, and kept beeping even after the temperature was within its limits. (It even displayed the correct 21degrees temperature while annoying the hell out of me for hours . . . . )
Give the power a cycle once it has normalised.
