Re: Full Colour Wall Stickers Lifting

Ive seen other posts on other forums (uk sign makers) complaining about certain paints, such as the dulux easy clean etc causing adhesion issues.

I better start looking for a good supplier for the OEM ink then. I suppose there's not really a way to work out how many meters of vinyl a set of OEM inks will do as it would depend on what your printing.
Versaworks will give you an estimated usage before printing.

Re: Roland GX-500 servicing advice

The BN-20 was an impulse purchase as my business is supplying crafters and blanks from Acrylic. the BN-20 is woefully underused as I just have been so busy since it was purchased. It was always meant to test the waters (it was second hand but came with a brand new print head installed from Roland UK...

Re: Problem with lighters

Thats why I changed my LEF-20 to primer, I never used the gloss, and the primer works very well on glass and acrylics.

Re: Problem with lighters

Tried degreasing it first? I use IPA to wipe most surfaces down before printing. You get release agents on plastic products which are not always removed.

Re: Carpet Cleaning

I would imagine it would depend on your carpet width. If its thin enough, something like the Roland RF-640 with a cleaning cartridge in would probably do the trick. This assumes of course your carpet is pretty thin, and only 64" maximum in width.

I would recommend a thorough vacuum first however.
