Re: LEF-20 White color missing when print

Have you read the white data guide? Are you using the special spot colours from the versaworks pallette on the design software? Its a special colour, and the machine will only print it when its been designed into the artwork (unless you are using versaworks dual).

Re: Magnets on a LEF-20 Bed

Hmm, they are the 3mm rare earth ones (same as from hard drives) I was planning on using, might change the plans to use ferrous ones then. Cheers :)

Magnets on a LEF-20 Bed

Hallo, I design and make my own jigs, and am looking at adding some magnetic hold downs onto the bed of the printer in a jig. Is it ok to add magnetss, will it do anything funny to the print heads? Ive tried calling the office, but they are apparently not open today

Re: proccessor

Would probably help if you listed specs, cpu, ram, hard drive and how long it is taking to rip a certain sized file. Then people can compare it :).

Re: Hey everyone

Welcome! Funny you should mention that, I have just purchased a BN-20 myself (demo unit) from my dealer :D. Luckily, I know versaworks and the rest, since I have a LEF-20 but there is always stuff to learn. Personally, I wouldn't use non OEM inks, its a false economy most of the time really.

Re: What media for test print on lef-12i?

I use PET-G as I have boxes of the stuff, or acetate will do nicely. Its the best way IMO as you even see the gloss.

Re: Realistic raster from roland spot colours

What you are asking is fundementally impossible, the spot colour will vary per substrate as well . . . .
Whatever your software is, just open up the spot colour, change the CMYK to RGB and it will give you the RGB or Hex values for the spot colour.
