I have tried this and to be honest it didn't really make a difference? Maybe I need to let the White dry for longer before running the CMYK? The biggest difference I have seen so far is printing in uni-direction and not bi-direction.

I usually do the standard one pass method but I have tried allowing the white the dry first but it makes no difference for some reason. However I have been playing about and have found that if I print in uni-direction the grain isn’t really that noticeable compared to printing in bi-directional, but...

Right I’ve narrowed it down to the white underlay. If I print without a white underlay I don’t get the problem. Obviously this isn’t any good when printing onto transparent media, which is most of the time for me.

I've just changed to this setting and it's much, much worse?

EDIT: Sorry after further comparing it seems to be about the same but does make the colours look more how they're supposed to.

Anything else to try to remove the graininess?

Grainy colours?

Hi, not long had my BN-20 but I am liking it so far. Only issue I seem to have is when printing lighter colours such as the in the image I have attached. Not sure if I’m just being really picky or not but it looks a bit too grainy to me for a £5500 machine? Is this a settings issue or am I expecting...
