Re: van decal problem; PLEASE HELP!

I agree, it's a very difficult job without the application tape. The tape gives it a lot of stability, plain vinyl will stretch a lot especially if you're not experienced with vinyl jobs.

I would cut the stripes with the application tape to size and use tape beacons to align.

Re: Help with gloss layer...versa uv 20

So you want detailed varnish objects but your VersaWorks makes a complete A3 sized varnish layer with no details?

Re: Washing Head .. Stuck !

Don't remember. However, if it's already in FILL INK stage you don't need cleaning cartridges anymore. Just ink.

Re: Washing Head .. Stuck !

Head wash requires several cleaning cartridges. This process needs to finish, you cannot halt it in the middle.

It's cheaper to have a service engineer over.

I have a case that looks exactly like yours and I haven't gotten it fixed by any cheap solution.

Re: VS-540 Black Nozzles problem.

As a last measure to get nozzles going. Looks like a pigment buildup. Which inks are you running?

Re: VS-540 Black Nozzles problem.

There is no choke cleaning in user menu for a reason. It's VERY dangerous to the head.

Re: XF-640 Pinch Roller pressure

It means take off the media take-up tension. Just lift the dancer roller.

You can then hold the media and unload it. You can manually gather it to the take-up.
