Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

Ink pumping (klak-klak-klak) with the print carriage slightly to the left from parking spot is normal. The vacuum pump loads up the print head with ink and drains the unnecessary drips from the capping station by offseting the head and sucking the captop dry. The dirt in question may be anywhere in ...

Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

No master reset please!

It's either dirt or you have installed the wiper the wrong way or wrong (felt) slot.

Re: Rolans sp300

What do you mean. It won’t measure the width for setup?

If you mean when printing then set your FULL WIDTH S setting in the menu to SHEET or FULL.

Re: SP-300V some areas are "cloudy" when printed

As I mentioned, the middle rollers are available in wider machines. No use in 30" machines. There's no way of installing them either so don't worry about it.

Your rollers are definitely conical, every fixed exterior roller is. It's barely noticeable but very well visible.

Re: SP-300V some areas are "cloudy" when printed

I was asking you to turn off the heaters to prevent media from expanding due to heat and lifting up from the media (as it’s got nowhere to go width wise). Your 100% full suction helping also correlates with this as the media is forced to the bed. Pinch rollers can be an issue if installed the wrong ...

Turn heaters off and see if anything changes.

Have you by any means changed the pinch rollers yourself?

Re: LEF blurred printing

What I would do:

Print a full width 100% CMYK blocks. I mean full width of the table split in four, let’s say 100x100 mm squares in one row printed with Sign & Display colour management setting to rule out print head problems before moving forward.

There may be a print head slow to start.
