Also what ink type are you running pigment or ecosolvent?

Most digital papers will have a gloss print side and a rough underside so that the material is gripped by the rollers, what application do you need a double sided paper for?

The version 3 firmware is for a new mainboard with a different boot version, if you can PM me your email address i can send you an older firmware version.

If the error occurs again try cleaning the encoder scale with a lint free cloth, rmember to never clean with any liquids or anything that gives off fibres.

Ok, good to hear that they are going to look at it for you. Normally a recycle of the power would reset it, if it's locked the only other way would be to remove the table and manually wind the unit down, although this is best done by an engineer, as the table may need adjustment if removed.
