Re: any way to bypass using cleaning ink?

One full cleaning cartridge would be needed to complete a head wash, alongside the dummy cartridges.

Re: Latest version of cutstudio

The add-on is under development, you can download and install an older version and run side by side the latest version. You will only need to save as PDF or EPS in the new one and then reopen in the older version to use CutStudio.

Re: Roland egx 30

Have a look at the Vectric software CUT 2D, this would be the best software for the machine, R-Wear hasn't been updated since 2012 so it won't support new PDF's.

Re: any way to bypass using cleaning ink?

If you have completed the ink fill you wouldn't need to perform it again. Windows and the PC are not connected to the machine in that way so this shouldn't have any effect, unless you are selecting a pump up or head wash.

Re: any way to bypass using cleaning ink?

When installing the machine, you do need a full cleaning cartridge, once this has been completed you shouldn't need to repeat the process.

Re: Roland egx 30

Does the engraver show up under devices and printers? or does it show as an other or unknow device in device manager?

It could be that the driver is not correctly installed.

Re: LEF-20 print smudge

Hi Steve,

As discussed manually cleaning the entire carriage to ensure any dust build up is not going through the ink whilst printing may help.
