Re: Roland egx 30

Have a look at the Vectric software CUT 2D, this would be the best software for the machine, R-Wear hasn't been updated since 2012 so it won't support new PDF's.

Re: any way to bypass using cleaning ink?

If you have completed the ink fill you wouldn't need to perform it again. Windows and the PC are not connected to the machine in that way so this shouldn't have any effect, unless you are selecting a pump up or head wash.

Re: any way to bypass using cleaning ink?

When installing the machine, you do need a full cleaning cartridge, once this has been completed you shouldn't need to repeat the process.

Have you tried engraving through Dr. Engrave?

Re: Roland egx 30

Does the engraver show up under devices and printers? or does it show as an other or unknow device in device manager?

It could be that the driver is not correctly installed.

Re: LEF-20 print smudge

Hi Steve,

As discussed manually cleaning the entire carriage to ensure any dust build up is not going through the ink whilst printing may help.

Re: MetazaStudio problem for MPX-95

In the driver make sure that you have made the setting for extended size and the bed size is now 80x80mm.

Re: MPX-90 'Rub' marks left on engraved items

If the item you are impacting on gives off any dust or swarf, then the nosecone can pick this up and cause the scratching, try cleaning the nosecone with a brush after each print.

Re: Moving LEC 330 Upstairs

You should perform a pump up first to drain the ink inside the machine, as any ink leaking in the movement process can cause internal damage.

Re: FILE CORRUPT

The file corruption is usually down to temporary files, perform a disk cleanup and delete the temp files, also delete the files from the queues, before doing this.

If it continues then I would suggest running off separate pc's.
