Best ways to dry material when it is printing?

Post by clearpoint » Fri Apr 28, 2017 4:47 pm

Hi all,

Does anyone out there know of an affordable way of making sure that when you print from your Roland that the print is dry enough to stop any offsetting of the ink onto the bottom of the roll that has just been wound up onto the roller? We are struggling due to offsetting of ink everytime we do a take up on a roll, we have the heaters on and sometimes use a basic standing fan to help dry the ink however we still have problems sometimes.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Phil.

Go buy a terrace heater bar (or two) from your closest hardware store, mount it knee height on a simple stand, be it a transport pallet, a chair (or anything safe really). Plug it in, put it in front of the printer, to a safe distance and you're good.
