Cut alignment out.

Post by Marrak » Mon Feb 20, 2017 2:22 pm

Good day everyone,

I am printing and cutting labels for water bottles, I have to print 3000, so I put 200 through at a time. Its about 1200mm when it cuts, its looks like the alignment is out,
I did the alignment adjustments,

any advise, sorry for this silly post, but its killing not knowing how to fix it,

Kind Regards

Possible faults:

media stretched non-linear during laminating
blade dull, causing media shift
grit roller dirty
pinch rollers worn/dirty
cutter protector worn/bad
blade holder worn/bad
pinch roller frame(s) worn
cut/up-speed too high for the media/blade combination

after a few months I have notice that my fixed pinch roller on the left is the problem, the rubber part is coming loose can I replace that roller or how does it work with the fixed one?

Always replace pinch rollers in pairs. It's a cheap part and you can rule out this issue for the next few years.
Do you usually leave your media loaded for the night? If so, this wears out pinch rollers prematurely.

Ok, the whole unit or just the wheels? I see my pinch rollers pins don't come out after I took out the little c-clips,

Just the rollers, not frames. The pins are loose. Give it a nudge.

I tried to take it out its not going out, I saw some video and it goes out easily, but this pins don't want to go out, I tried on the one side not yet on the other side,

No, I don't leave the the media over night.

But if you say It needs to go out I will try again

Thank you so far for all the help
