Bn20 optics connector problems

Post by BurtsBoyz » Fri Jul 07, 2017 4:49 pm

Hello all another fun question for the rubbish bn20. There is a small white electrical connector an the back of the print head that registers if there is media loaded or not basically my one keeps getting pulled out by the pinch wheels and its very hard to get back in as there is no access and the use of mirrors tweezers and a lot of time and foul language.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution to this problem.

If the cable hasn't been damaged then a cable tie may be needed to keep it in place, I have seen before where the cable has been ripped out and it then needs replacement.
