ROLAND VP AND SP CLEANING

HI ALL , IVE GOT A CLEANING KIT FOR ROLANDS IN IT , IT HAD A SMALL TUB OF CLEAR LIKE GREASE CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS FOR ? . MAYBE DO YOU PUT A LITTLE ON THE SLIDE THAT THE CUTTER/PRINT HEAD RUNS ON ?

If it's clear/semi-translucent it's very likely for the linear carriage bearing. Don't put this on plastic gears. The grease for those is opaque white.

Yup. Looks like lithium grease for the linear bearing.
