White ink alignment question on BN20

Hello

Just a quick question.

When doing a single pass of CMYK with white over the top the white is slightly off by 0.25mm.

Is there an adjustment I can make to correct this please?

Thanks

Russ

Not in user mode, this adjustment is done when the head is installed.

What's your head gap when printing? Have you tried it with the closest setting (automatic height)?

Hi Mrtn

Thanks for your reply.

I am soory but I have no clue what the head gap is or tried to adjust it. Luckily I have never had to do too muuch to the machine since it was first set up and serviced by Roland engineers.

Would you mind letting me know where I can find this info/setting please.

Thank you

Russ

To start with, In the BN-20 Windows Utility, from Adjustment select "Calibrate Sheet Feeding" this will then print out a test which will show you if the feed is set incorrectly, then perform the "Birectional Adjustment" also in the same menu, this will then determine if the print is out left to right.

Thank you Kai.

On the Calibrate Sheet Feeding test print there is a very slim line of white between the boxes and it is the same width on all 7 percentage boxes. I guess this is my issue?

The birectional adjustment looked fine to me.

Thanks

Russ

Oh, dumb me, I misread the printer model for LEF-20, no gap setting in BN-20.
