Printhead Scratches Media?!

Post by TRUSTOR » Sat Sep 16, 2017 9:47 pm

We just got a brand new roland truvis vg 640, have not printed anything since the roland-technician was here for the "setup-day", 3 days ago.

So today we was just starting out to test some prints and got this sh*t :?
Something in/under the printhead scratches the media.
(White mask is just to hide print-text)

I found the problem, but how so solve it?

The right edge colored red has red ink on it, so it's what crash into the media, the left one is clean.
How do i adjust that?
It creates scratches in both high and low setting of the printhead, might it be the springs that holds it up that needs to be changed?

It's a media alignment or heating issue. Set your heater temperatures as low as possible. Print heater should not exceed 35 degrees C. Make sure the media is set straight with no non-linear tension.
