Paper source

Post by FINNIX » Mon Sep 18, 2017 2:50 pm

Looking for a paper for use with my Roland BN-20. Double sided smooth/semigloss 100-150gsm. Similar to what offset printed flyers feel like. Not thick inkjet photo-paper. I've received a sample from Sihl and their range seems good but it's rough on the opposite side and doesn't have the same feel to what I'm looking for.

Any help is really appreciated.

Most digital papers will have a gloss print side and a rough underside so that the material is gripped by the rollers, what application do you need a double sided paper for?

I want my posters too feel like a giant flyer you'd get from offset printing i.e. smooth both sides, slight gloss, 100-150gsm. Even considering a thin poly film.

I would look at a thin banner material instead of a paper.
