Hi Anthony,

There are lots of different materials you could use! Depending on cost, lifespan, easy of application etc.
Here is a link to a basic tutorial I made on creating a laptop graphic: http://www.rolanddg.co.uk/roland-laptop-cover/
The example uses a UV ink machine (the VersaUV LEC) however the idea is the same for Eco-Solvent machines, just minus the gloss emboss effect.

I only did a main graphic but wrapping is possible too.

I used a standard polymeric adhesive vinyl.

Be good to see the results if you do manage to get some done!

Thank Joe,

I was looking at using Metamark MD3-R as it can be removed later easily if needed.

Have to purchase some of this material next week and get cracking. Just have to put the thinking cap on over the weekend and come up with some designs.

I would recommend laminating the prints if you are going to apply solvent prints to a laptop. it will protect the graphic, making it much more durable.

If you need to know how to print with VersaWorks, laminate then cut with VersaWorks there is a guide for it here.
