been printing on pvc banner material can anyone help and say why for some reason the size of the image on versa works is bigger than the one actually printed is this something to do with the speed in which the material is taken in or something

This has to do with the feed calibration of the media. Look up CALIBRATION in your user manual and printer menu. This function will fix it. Your calibration value will most likely need to be increased to compensate for the softness of the surface and the related amount of slippage in media transport.

Thank you big help what normally would be ideal speed and does head height effect

You should always use head height setting "HIGH" for printing on banners because they tend to lift up and cause head strikes. Make bi-dir adjustment and save as a separate preset as well. This minimizes bi-dir banding in banner mode.

High Speed and Banner modes are recommended. The latter usually uses large ink dot providing better coverage at the cost of lower print quality but no-one really looks at banners up close.

thanks going try this all I get off roland is a load of nothing when it comes to asking a simple question they just blame media for loosing it
