Hi everyone, I’m planning on starting a business printing custom designs onto plates to celebrate wedding anniversaries. I have seen the water slide papers at creativepaperco.com which seem perfect for this type of work. However, I’ve seen some posts advising not to use water decal paper on ceramics? What is correct? The plates that I will be printing on will just sit on peoples walls.
I have never tried it once. I have heard it the same you have. To my thought is quality that people want for wedding plates for decoration purpose. Water slide papers is good on toy model or minor things. Not plates. You can profit more with good quality. At some point I do think that water slide papers cease and fade after exposure to elements in short period of times. You can give it a try and ask people what they thought of it when you show them.
