LEF-20 How to flush remaining cleaning liquid in Gloss

Post by lumifab » Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:34 pm

Hi there

I have been using the 'cleaning liquid' cartridge in the Gloss ink slot for a while . Now I have put back the gloss ink cartridge and would like to use it.
I have made some test prints after multiple cleanings, and the gloss is still diluted . It doesnt cure and smears (it even melts the underlying inks) . How do I flush it completely from the pipes ?

As a side question, how do I print without the gloss cartridge if I don't need it? I was able for a certain time to put the foam dummy cartridge and it allowed me to print, but after a while the printer wouldn't accept it..
.

Thanks!

Try perform the ink circulation and a couple of power cleans, then just run a large area of emboss with an overprint of high level may bring it back.

If you are intending to ever print the gloss again there is no other way to ensure it does work in future.
