Anti static bar for Roland BN20?

Post by Rusty » Wed Mar 08, 2017 10:31 am

Morning.

We are having major issues with spots of dust and hairs in simply prints especially on darker colours - blues and blacks. Trying to do a full solid background is almost impossible and we have resorted to using felt tips to colour in these spots. We regularly hoover the office where the printer is located and have also tried spooling off a length of the print media (Orafol clear) and wiping down with an anti static foam cleaner before putting back in the printer. Sometimes this works but often not.

Has any one any advice on this please or can you get an anti static bar/cord or kit that you can somehow fit on to this make of printer?

Thanks in advance.

You could get a ion blower fan to clean off the material prior to print. Also look at changing the flooring by the printer.
