White ink "Expiry date"

Hi all,

I've been using Bn-20 with white ink (eco-solmax 2) for few years. I always shake it and try to print with it every week (just to circulate it).
So far so good, I only experience problem normally when it ink is about to finish.
I'm not printing with white ink regularly so it takes a while to finish a cartridge.

-Is there any "expiry date" on the white ink? The white seems to be very milky (not opaque) when it's somewhere below 20% ?
- Sometimes the cartridge (near the insertion point of the cartridge) is somehow melt. I believe it's because of the solvent damaging the plastic. I heard the rule of thumb is about 200 times insertion , is this true?

thanks all.

There is not an expiry date of the ink, the insertion of the cartridge is really down to the machine and if any ink is spilt in the cartridge bay, which could cause the melting.
