Media Widths - BN-20?

This is a follow on from my post - 'Write on Vinyls'.

Some of the vinyls we use are of the 'speciality' variety which basically means, they're damned expensive and rarely available in widths usable on the BN-20!!

So my question is, how can I most efficiently have the media sliced into usable widths? The media I wish to use is DS3005(L) textured white monomeric permanent grey adhesive, this is available in the following widths; 760mm, 1371mm & 1524mm on 50 metre rolls and costs £141.20, £230.19 & £275.27 plus VAT & carriage - there's also a charge for slicing to required widths!

The BN-20 is very fussy about widths it can and can't use:
6" (minimum it will see and use)
7" - Won't work
8" - ok
9" - ok
10" - Won't work
11" - ok
12" - ok
13" - Won't Work
14" - ok
15" - ok (cutoff at 15.1")
16" - ok
17" - Won't Work
18" - ok
19" - Won't Work
20" ok

Sizes that work:
5.9 - 6.7 inches
7.9 - 9.3
11.3 - 12.7
13.7 - 15.1
15.5 - 16.9
17.3 - 18.7
19.2 - 20.3

As I'm using this media to print small labels there's some leeway in the widths. Lets say I choose to buy 50 metres of the 760mm (29.9213") wide vinyl. How can this best be sliced to I can maximise its usage on the BN-20? My head's beginning to hurt :)

I've only ever used the max width materials and often thrown away the 'sliced off' bits!
