Post by Isabel Newton » Tue Oct 04, 2011 8:59 pm

I have been asked by a customer about printing on foamex panels, but they've said they need to be fire retardant. Is it possible get fire retardant foamex?

Good morning Isabel

It is possible to get fire retardant foamex but it would be worth speaking with the suppliers as some will be better than others depending on the exact material and finish.

The below company offer a range of PVC foam boards for the display industry which they say are fire retardant so you could start by speaking with them - I have not used them personally but I know a number of sign makers have and they have been recommended...

Hope this helps.
