MPX 90 engraving issue

Post by Jerry88 » Wed Mar 29, 2017 7:54 pm

The material I am engraving is 27.2 mm x 48.6 mm dog tag. I set the material size and engraving size on the print setting as 27.2 mm x 48.6 mm. When I start engraving a picture, the print head move beyond the dimension which it starts hitting the side of the vice. I tried to set the material and engraving size 1 mm dimension smaller but it's the same. Few days ago, it was engraving just fine and this problem just started happening today. How can I fix this as I'm afraid it will cause some permanent damage to the machine.

I've been using this machine for over 2 years and it's first time I encounter this issue. Please help :(

Disconnect the power and then reboot, this should align the axis to it's original position.

If this doesn't work go through the alignment of the print head using the setting in the windows driver.
