Moving LEC 330 Upstairs

Post by gemmadsouza » Thu Nov 16, 2017 4:03 pm

Hello

We are going to be moving our LEC 330 from the ground floor to the second floor of our office.

Unfortunately we have a small space to manoeuvre it and it will mean we will be tilting the machine whilst moving it.

What are the steps we need to take before turning the machine off and moving it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Perform a manual cleaning, make sure the captops and everything around capping station and wiper tray is clean. Empty the drain bottle and fix it to the machine with a masking tape. Turn off the machine and diconnect the plugs. Fix the head clamp in place if you have one and take it upstairs left end first. Remove the clamp and make sure everything works and there are no leaks anywhere,

You should perform a pump up first to drain the ink inside the machine, as any ink leaking in the movement process can cause internal damage.
