I have never gotten a bad head from Roland and I've replaced hundreds of them. So, there's smth wrong with the installation. Also, half of Magenta is gone.

Who did the replacement? Did you have the dampers changed as well? Did you refit the ink tubes to the dampers? Were the flat cables clean?

You should always replace dampers and a cap top together with the head. Or have them replaced by a trained engineer to make sure you don't fry the new head running dry.

I did a black head replacement (done one/two before) anyway, I go new captop and dampers too but ended up trying of captop and then reverts back to new one. No matter what I try the black ink doesn't want to stay in the dampers! Grrrr anything thoughts why I'm
Loosing the pressure that keep the ink in the damper,
