Nozzle Test print

Post by Naval » Wed Feb 24, 2016 9:11 pm

Hi there, I am new to the forum. Just joined today.
I own a Roland BN-20.
Wanted to know if anyone has encountered issues with not being able to print Nozzle test page.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Naval

Hi & Welcome to the forum,

I take it from your post that you are experiencing issues performing the check nozzle condition, in the BN-20 utility, have you tried updating the utility to the latest version ?

Where does the problem occur?
Is the print carriage moving with no output when you execute the command?

I have updated the versaworks software last night.
Will there be a separate software update for the BN-20 Utility?

The BN-20 Utility software freezes. What's even more weird is.
I printed a test page yesterday before updating the versaworks software which printed fine.
I tried printing both the test page and nozzle test page after the VW update but neither will print now.

We have seen an issue with the utility in the past freezing, try removing all the cartridges and reseting the machine and restarting the utility.

Hi have tried that as well. Nothing doing. Someone recommended that i reinstalled the BN-20 windows utility drive.
Hopefully that works. Do you know where can i get the recent utility drive for BN-20?

Try updating the driver and then updating the utility, you can download the latest version of driver and the update for the utility from this website.
