[Tutorial] Reverse print onto clear acrylic

Post by Joe Wigzell » Tue Jul 10, 2012 11:50 am

Hello!

It's tutorial time again! :D

This step-by-step guide runs through the process of creating a reverse print with a white flood onto a clear acrylic sheet.

Follow this link to the online version

Using the LEJ-640 it is possible to print directly onto the acrylic, however with a bit of tinkering you would be able to produce the same output printing onto a roll material such as an optically clear adhesive (or just white vinyl?), which could then be applied to the acrylic.

Multiple layers could be built up between separate sheets of acrylic for an more fancy look!

Here is an image of the finished article:

If you have any questions or have created something similar let me know!

Happy printing...
