Sorry to bother so much, what screws do you mean? the cables look like they are glued in the back. That little plastic thing was always ditached the first week i got the machine.

There should be a vertical screw that holds both the head cables in position.

You may have a connection broke off one of the sensors, this happened to my machine which was out of warranty, I had to order a new sensor from the USA as I could not find any in the UK, I then soldered the new sensor on to the existing lead and all works fine.
