EGX 300 - Photo to engraved metal/plastic?

Post by NinjaUK » Sat May 02, 2015 12:30 pm

Can the EGX 300 reproduce photos to engraved metal or plastic with the software supplied, if so what software is it and the process we should use?

To create photos with the machine you would need to use Photo Vcarve from Vectric.

On metal it is difficult, as with Photo Vcarve you need to cut through one colour to reveal another colour to get the best result.

Hmmm
I actually have this program in a folder of discs, however I dont think I have a wood bit for the EGX300.....
I do have a pile of bits for various engraving machines some are new, some used. Dont suppose any of you kind chaps in Clevedon would mind identifying them for me , and letting me know what I'd need to order?
I kindly send you a Yankee Candle from www.stinx.co.uk as a thank you :) And get a package on the way down ASAP??

Your best bet for engraving laminates is going to one of our dealers. You can call Mastergrave (www.mastergrave.co.uk) and they should be able to provide you with the materials.
Unfortunatly we don't do the materials ourselves.
