Roland XR 640 Black Print Dirty Around Edges & Magenta White Blocks On Test Print Please advise

Post by Ismail Moola » Thu May 25, 2017 10:17 am

Hi I am Printing a 100% Solid Black on white vinyl media but the letters seem to have a dirty
print or black seems to be spreading around edges. Magenta on test print has 2 white blocks.
Have tried doing a normal clean as well as medium clean but results are the same.
Please see 2 pages with images attached in PDF format.
Please advise.
Printer: Soljet Roland XR 640
Thank you
Ismail

It looks like there has been a head strike, which has caused the damage to the black and magenta channels, may need a replacement head.
