How do I cut the backing material on stickers using the GS-24

Post by osgx » Fri Sep 01, 2017 8:58 pm

I have a Roland GS-24 using Adobe Illustrator CutStudio Plugin on the Mac and am looking to send out to customers trimmed vinyl stickers.

The stickers are 80mm square (the artwork area) but the cut size I would like to send to clients needs to be trimmed at 90mm.

Can anyone help me the correct settings to enter as a starting point using the new perforated function as have tried several settings and cannot get this to work.

Also is it possible to cut and perf at the same time.

Regards

Julia ;)

The cut length and half cut length are determined by the job, try 10.00 for the cut length and 1.00 for the half cut length.

The force is usually double the standard cutting force + 10%

Many thanks for this Kai

I have put settings as instructed

The force on the Half Cut F cannot go above 80gf…?

also

I am looking to cut the path for the design at 100gf and the "Perforated Cut Line" is this possible in one pass.

Many thanks

Julia
