Friday Morning Quick Tip - Great ideas....

Post by Adam Wyles » Fri Nov 25, 2011 9:49 am

Good morning everyone and welcome to your ‘Friday Morning Quick Tip’

If only “Great ideas” just happened – but they don’t, do they? So what is the best way to develop these? I can only give you my opinion and what has worked for me and is what we are doing currently at Roland now.
We are changing the focus of our Head Office showroom and turning into a Creative Centre to inspire people and we have loads upon loads of ideas and I will be honest and say that not all of them were great at the start. However, we discuss the ideas in a group consisting of a creative genius, marketing, sales and business managers and after only a short amount of time, with everyones input....the initial ideas become great ideas!
All I am saying is that if you are looking at branching out into a new direction or have a particular idea – speak to people! It could be a work colleague, a customer, even someone who has no idea of what you do...a neighbour. But, they will all have valuable input and that simple idea could escalate and become the great idea you want and need to take your business to the next step.

Thank you for reading the Friday Morning Quick Tip, have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you on the Forum.

Thank you Sawdust, I am glad you find them useful. Regarding your halfway through the day comment - the amount of espresso I would have to consume would be unbelievable!,

True dedication and I take my hat off to you.

P.S my alarm clock will only set from 6.30 onwards- it's one of those special ones!!

Hello Adam!
A great thought indeed! Very useful for creative people. This is what I am here for. I love interacting with people. Being in the Fashion world, a lot of things keep coming up. Combining a lot of ideas to make up a masterpiece is something really good. So, I totally agree with you and proud to be working in a similar manner!
