Bn-20 cutting problem

Post by teesandsigns » Sun Jun 12, 2016 4:44 pm

hi im cutting printed vinyl on my bn-20
my blade packed up a whileback as it wasnt cutting well.
so put a new blade in cutting great apart from the odd letter that it misses part of the odd letter and number.
I did change my laptop around about the same time but cant imagine thats why.
Any ideas please?
its a bn-20.
thanks

Have you looked at lubricating and cleaning the blade holder, or looked at the cutting strip.

The cutter on my BN20 sometimes cuts/lifts/leaves a space and then resumes. I believe it's something to do with 'extraneous' nodes around any messy cut-line. If the cut-line is perfectly smooth, it doesn't happen.
