corel fountain fill

ok when i draw a rectangle and do a 2 colour fountain fill ,,one a roland spot colour and the other a cmyk then take my colourpicker over it , its various cmyk,s ,,,, ok but when i have 2 roland spot colours in and take my colourpicker over it , its now all in rgb ??? what am i doing wrong ? please

To create a spot colour gradient you need to work with a single spot colour at both ends, 100% to 0%, as a spot colour is an individual colour you cannot mix it with another colour.

If you need say a red to a blue you need to create the first one with a 100 % Red to 0% Red and then place the blue one on top or vice versa.
