Differences between AJ-740 and AJ-740i

Post by visedge » Mon Apr 24, 2017 3:40 pm

Hi all,
We just got a secondhand AdvancedJet AJ-740 last week. I updated it to the latest firmware (ver. 5.1) thinking that that would allow the machine to use the 'Roland intelligent pass control' but, it doesn't!

Does anyone know what the physical differences are between the two machines?

Also it's giving the Error message 050, which is a problem with a 'Slider Motor'! Anyone know what or where I can get one of these?

Regards, Darren

There were a few upgrades for the machine, these are -

New RIPC Profiles
New Firmware and VersaWorks
Head Protection Bracket
New Front Dancer Roller.
New Covers

The part number for the Slide Motor is - 1000000647 CABLE-ASSY SLIDE MOTOR AJ-1000
