the gx24 appears in devices but not as a printer. I tried updating drivers but it says their up to date.
Im running windows 10 by the way. when i click troubleshoot it says some older printers will not work on usb3 which is why i thought that might be the problem

* Disconnect the printer
* Remove the unknown driver in Device Manager
* Download and install http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/cutting. ... 64dricamm1
* Reboot and reconnect

Oh, pick your correct windows version here: http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/cutting.html#gx24

You have 32-bit.
