Help with SP300 and GX24

Hi

Just fairly new but I do need some advice, help and or guidance

I have purchased a SP-300 and GX-24 and software was included, I'll confess I purchased from eBay to start with as I want to make sure the turnover is there before investing heavily on brand new kit (sorry If I'm not allow to post due to this) The SP-300 disc is scratched and won't install - how can I go about getting replacement software? For the GX-24 it all seems fine, its on Windows 10 but wont detect on the PC, I have installed the windows 10 relevant driver but nothing - for this am I best off trying a serial cable first? If the serial cable doesn't work then what is the next best thing to do?
