Hi,

I've found an old Laptop with Windows Vista 32-bit. I've installed the v1.40 driver on it.
I'll test it out tonight and report back.

If it doesn't work, I will suspect there is a problem with the current drivers not being compatible with the MDX-40 upgrade package. I'll try and find an older version of the WinVista 32-bit driver if this is the case.

If I have no luck after trying all of this I will submit a support ticket to Roland.

Cheers,
Drew

Hi,

Using the old Laptop with Windows Vista 32-bit with driver v1.40 worked. I've now upgraded to MDX-40A.
I've also updated to the latest MDX-40A firmware (1.70) as the upgrade package puts you on 1.00.

I've now got to contact Roland and get all the MDX-40A software.

Cheers,
Drew

Thanks Drew. It worked for me as well. Using an XP laptop, updated the firmware to mdx40A-1.00 and then with windows 10, updated it to 1.7 from rolandjp download section.
