I need the old driver for GT100

Post by vaughanleydon » Tue Sep 06, 2016 11:58 am

Hi,

I see there's a system update for the GT-100 guitar effects processor, to version 2. I'm still on version 1 and I'd like to update. However, before performing the update I'd like to back up my user patches using GT100 librarian. I know that in theory my user patches shouldn't be affected by the update, but I'd prefer to be prudent. The problem I have is that I need the old GT100 driver in order for GT100 librarian to work with my GT100 version 1. I'm only able to find version 2 of the GT100 driver on the Roland website, and it's only possible to use this once the GT100 has been updated to version 2. So, I'm in a bit of a catch 22 situation, as without the original driver, I can't back-up my patches with librarian, and consequently can't update to version 2. Does anyone who how I can get hold of the original GT100 driver? I'm using a mac running El Capitan.

Many thanks

Vaughan

Hi,

You would have to look at the Roland Music website.
