Trouble

Post by nixaster » Mon Nov 17, 2014 11:43 pm

I just purchased the iModella. I installed the Software on Windows 7 Professional Edition 64 Bit edition. It went through fine. IT says the IM-01 is successful. However, Imodella Controller cannot see it and I also see unknown device in Control Panel.
I downloaded latest drivers as well and went through it again. This is really troubling. What am I doing wrong here?

The Creator and Model Player 4 work fine. Please help.

Thanks - Nick

Under the control panel view as small icons and then select device manager.

In device manager look for other or unknown devices.

You should see the iModela listed there, right click on the icon and select "Update Driver Software"

Then select the driver either that you have on the CD or have downloaded, ernsuring that it is the correct one for 64bit.

When updated the machine should show in the devices and printers list and should also be able to connect to the controller.

You shouldn't need to select a file just the directory that they are in, once selected the driver should install and you will be asked to confirm the model.

If you need it speciffically it should be names IM-01 which is the product code for the iModela.

Did you get this working OK?
