The LEF 12 and 20 are different, they are unidirectional printing, and, as far as I know, there is no way to adjust the LED lamps (could be wrong of course). I've never actually seen a calibration for the heads either in any of the menus on the machine or on versaworks bar a nozzle check. Again, happy to be proven wrong :).

I am sure there is a adjustment it may not be available for user and may be only available to tech who need special log in to machine but im not sure. i would look at that tech or user manual for that machine on adjusting printer heads as there always a way to calibrate it. Im not sure on this machine how cause i dont own one. I do own a flat bed uv printer a OCE Arizona 318 and i had same problem which i corrected by adjusting the print head gantry. In my case most times i get any banding its a head that needs to be cleaned but aftwerwards its the travell speed of the ink heads not giving Lights time to blend the passes together. So thats definetly where you should focus your efforts. For your machine you may need a tech to come and calibrate it but i would research that more. You can always call tyem and talk to a tech. they may tell you right out that its something you can do or if they need to come n service it.

Naturally a calibration will be possible by a service technician/engineer :)

thanks for all the information and contribution - yes I have had a tech on site but unresolved. I will take all above on board and go back to them armed with this information. The problem is critical for me as I do so much full colour print. Will update, thanks guys.
