Table won't lower

Post by Lizardface » Tue Sep 12, 2017 12:24 pm

Hi,
I have an LEF-300 and the table has itself stuck a high position. It won't manually depress with the power off either. Any tips on what might be the best way to fix this issue? Is there a certain set of buttons I can press that will over ride and lower it?|

Thanks in advance

Is the machine showing any errors in this position?, check that the bar at the top isn't just caught on it.

Yes, It is caught between "Check Table Height" and the odd time it shows "Service Call 0231" but doesn't show it any other time.
According to the owner of the machine, in a powered down state you should be able to depress the table slowly - I don't know if this is a good idea, but in any event it won't budge. Feel like one of the motors has a fault of some sort that may prevent it from moving.

Have they contacted their local Roland office, it sounds like an engineer is needed to inspect the table unit.

Yes, they should be here today I am just getting antsy and my production flow is cut in half (we have two of them)
Was hoping there was a potential quick fix.

Ok, good to hear that they are going to look at it for you. Normally a recycle of the power would reset it, if it's locked the only other way would be to remove the table and manually wind the unit down, although this is best done by an engineer, as the table may need adjustment if removed.
