Re: BN-20 Bunching Media

I didn't get any before photos but it was just the two sections marked in red that we gave a good clean and touch wood all seems to be working much more smoothly now.

Re: BN-20 Bunching Media

I seem to have found the problem and solution so thought I would post in case anyone else has this issue. The metal 'tray' underneath the rollers obviously had a small amount of ink build up (not visible, just a fine mist) so the media wasn't being pulled through smoothly and instead getting stuck a...

Re: BN-20 Bunching Media

So I did speak too soon.... the problem continues....

I can print metres of artwork without any issues but it is during cutting the problem occurs. I have new media clamps on the way so I'll see if that helps.

Re: BN-20 Bunching Media

Hi Kai, Yes when we cut the sheet it is then reloaded. The ambient temperature is around 20 degrees C normally, we also have an LEF-20 so the room is kept at a constant temp otherwise that will throw a hissy fit. At the risk of jinxing things, I did dismantle the clamp foot and bend it slightly last...

BN-20 Bunching Media

Hi everyone, Our BN-20 has begun bunching media recently which is very frustrating. It will print the media fine (we mainly use it for garment decoration) but after cutting about 25cm worth off the roll the media starts to bunch up and lifts the media clamps. It has caused a couple of head strikes w...

White Banding (!)

Hi all, we had an engineer out on Tuesday and they services our LEF-20. We have since had the white and Cyan/Magenta heads replaced to try and sort out the banding and lines issues but unfortunately, the problem continues!! I'm hoping someone might be able to identify the problem with our white prin...

Re: BN-20 Printing with White Ink

Quick question... Do you all shake your 'spare' white cartridges daily as well as the one installed in the machine?

Re: Spots and dimples in gloss on LEF-20

Hi teamADW, We also have an LEF-20 and have had the same problem that you've encountered with gloss printing. We have found that the following steps minimises (although does not eradicate) the problem. - We've covered the inside of the machine in carpet protector (adhesive side up) to catch any dust...

Re: BN-20 Media

Thanks Kai.

Typical - BN-20 utility and versaworks seem to show different setups (see image attached)

Is it possible for Roland to tell by the serial number?
