Re: Yellow does not print

Funnily enough, 2 weeks ago I had the same issue. Most yellow nozzles were missing, and different ones came back each clean. Got an engineer out, and he diagnosed a dodgy damper (2 years old) which had black ink in it. He wasn't quite sure how or why, and he had never seen it before. Luckily he did ...

Re: Roland care

Where are you based is the main question? I use independants in the UK, same engineers Roland uses. In the region of £170 call out charge and £80 per hour is not uncommon.

Re: Is it Necessary to Print White Ink Daily on LEF 200

It is fine to leave for days without printing, as long as you shake the white ink cartridge every day (which you should be doing anyway).

We can print once per week or even longer depending on the jobs.

Re: BN-20 over network

The BN20 is a budget printer, and doesn't connect via IP, but via USB. This is why you need to have it connected locally. AFAIK everything else Roland offer are network printers, and you can print from multiple Versaworks clients by using the IP. Versaworks is looking for PRINTER IP addresses, nothi...

Re: BN-20 over network

What I do is set up a public directory, and have versaworks monitor that folder in one of the queues. Just export directly to that folder and versaworks noms it up and places it in the queue. I do use a single PC as a print server, and many people use it. Makes monitoring jobs and settings much easi...

The adjustment on this head type is a manual one, you perform the prints and then adjust accordingly.

The roll to roll printers with this head tyype are the same.
Ah, gotcha. Always wondered!

Re: LEF-300 white calibration - need help!

Kai, why don't the flatbeds have a calibration like the roll to roll printers? At least, for users use?
