Re: SP-300V Ocassional scan motor error 0080

Ok, I did the LIMIT POSITION & CUT DOWN POSITION INITIALIZE and LINEAR ENCODER SETUP and all appears to be well to-day, time will tell :-)

SP-300V Ocassional scan motor error 0080

After waiting 2 weeks for a new scan motor, machine is up and running, printing/cutting good, as it did before without any errors. Now however, every once in a while I get the 0080 Scan Motor Overcurrent Error 2, this only happens when the print carriage is parking up. I have run linear encoder setu...

Re: Refurbishing asecond hand SP-300V printer

It is not possible to buy a chip from Roland, but somebody may be able to help you out on here!? Thanks for the reply, I emailed Grafityp on Saturday, from whom I bought it from, they replied Monday that a replacement cart would be delivered Tuesday (to-day), and the old one collected Wednesday. Th...

Refurbishing asecond hand SP-300V printer

While refurbishing my "project" sp-300V printer, I bought a new Eco-Sol Max original yellow 220 ink cart, scan motor, linear encoder strip, big dampers, 4 x ink junction boards, wipers, filters. I updated the firmware to 7.4 as well. While fine tuning, calibrating, flushing, priming, test printing e...

Versacamm time line

From the SP range of printers onwards, what is the order of the models and year when they came on the market?

Thanks.

Re: SP-300V print/lam/cut with crop marks

Have you tested the job without the laminate, if it performs the same try a material with a different backing material. Yes and it was almost the same Kai. Moving on, I went through the crop mark setup again in the service menu, and even though it is spot on, I am still seeing a small misalignment ...

Re: SP-300V print/lam/cut with crop marks

It's not the roller, it's the parts that hold the roller in place, if they are cracked, you can get the issue you are having. Other than that it could be that the material is causing the slippage on the feed. Thanks Kai, but the roller assemblies are good, no cracks and I can pull the porinter arou...

I think we already checked this, but with the media locked can you pull the media through?

It could be down to the pinch roller assemblies.
Yes it is on and as I mentioned above " I am printing a sheet so no tension or slippage issues, new pinch rollers fitted"

Thanks.

SP-300V print/lam/cut with crop marks

I make my print, laminate, and reload to cut with crop marks. I have several rows of stickers, the first row cuts spot on in both directions. As the sheet progresses, the feed causes the cuts to get progressively lower on each sticker row, like its something with the feed amount, linear cut position...
