If at all possible try and batch your print jobs so that they are completed in an 8 hour period. A timer resets 8 hours after the last metallic job and then more ink is used to prime the printer for optimal print quality. For example it is more efficient to print 3 metallic jobs in 8 hours, than 1 ...
